Crafty Madness

So I've pretty much read everything over at Turkey Feathers, and when I saw this, I was struck by the idea to make Easter baskets for the kids. I used the bottom picture from that posting as a starting point, then borrowed heavily from her "XOX Tote Tutorial" for practical sewing instructions. I traced an old Easter basket we had in the basement, and here is the final result:

This one is for Bobby. It's not perfect, but it's good enough for the love man. And the other two will be much easier to make (I hope). I'm fairly tickled. I also finished the girls' Little House bonnets today, but haven't had the opportunity to get a picture. Huge thanks to Turkey Feathers for the inspiration!
