Inspiration Overload

My parents came to visit us last week, and on Saturday, we drove out to Lancaster, PA.  My mom and I went into the Lancaster County Quilt Museum while everyone else checked out the Farmers' Market.
The quilting on these is just amazing--and it was all done by hand.

Makes you want to break out some solid fabrics, doesn't it?

I've always avoided solids, but of late I'm appreciating them more. Amish quilts with their vivid colors are so beautiful.

what a fun place. I love lancaster, pa. John and I usually get there for our anniversary trip, but we missed it this year. The quilts are beautiful.

I've never been to Lancaster, but after seeing these photos, the museum is now on my list!
