It took Rob several hours to mow the lawn this weekend. |
Truthfully, there wasn't much to report. Rain, rain, and more rain. Library trips, baseball games, birthday parties, sleepovers--the usual.
Some herbs from Burpee--parsley, sage, and French tarragon. |
I discovered that the Burpee seed company, whose headquarters are in the next town over, do indeed have a retail store in that next town over, so I made a stop there last week. My seedlings are pretty pitiful looking, so I abandoned them.
We use grass clippings as mulch--the green makes it hard to see the tomatoes and the pepper plant. |
I think tonight and tomorrow night are our last two nights of double-booked, split-squad activity. I look forward to a slower pace!

Our lawn looks the same way....Lots of grass raking was needed. It's to the point that we need to mow every 3-4 days. Crazy. I think most things in my garden have drowned -- back to the garden center. Oh well.
Your green grass is beautiful! all we have is weeds and moss. I know all about being super busy and having little to report - and cannot wait for summer to begin! So nice to tough base with you - i've been away from the computer and it's nice to connect with friends again!
i'm looking forward to the end of the double booked everyone going different directions night too! Summer is just about here.
