Emmaline

A few weeks ago, I knit Emmaline.

I used Nature's Choice Organic Cotton in Dusty Blue.  I think it's almost the same color as my dining room.  Really, if everything were dusty blue, I wouldn't complain.  The label on this yarn claims that it's a worsted weight, but it was pretty much right on gauge (I made sure to knit loosely).

Did I mention this only took about a week?

I'm still toying with the idea of adding single crochet around the neckline to firm it up a bit, but in the meantime, I'm just enjoying it.

Too often I see pictures of knitted sweaters and think what were they thinking with that color?! Not this time! You found the perfect color! So soft and pretty! Perfect for you...lovely pattern too...off to check it out now, been a while since I left my hook behind and picked up the needles!

Meg, that is GORGEOUS. Blue is your color and that sweater looks like it's hugging you in the most flattering way. It's really incredible. Well done!

I love the yarn you used. It really looks very summery. Enjoy wearing it. I can't believe you finished within a week.

I love the color and the design. Too bad I can never muster the courage to knit for myself
